摘要
目的:研究杨桃根醇提物对链脲佐菌素(STZ)致糖尿病模型小鼠的血糖影响。方法:采用STZ腹腔注射造糖尿病小鼠模型,再分别用格列本脲、杨桃根醇提物高、低剂量及生理盐水灌胃14d,观察各组小鼠空腹血糖、空腹血清胰岛素、胰岛素敏感指数、体质量变化及死亡率。结果:杨桃根醇提物高、低剂量组均能显著降低糖尿病模型小鼠的空腹血糖(与模型组相比P<0.01)、空腹血清胰岛素(与模型组相比P<0.01),并提高胰岛素敏感指数、缓解糖尿病模型小鼠的体质量下降(与模型组相比P<0.05)。结论:杨桃根醇提物能显著降低STZ致糖尿病小鼠的空腹血糖,缓解体质量下降及增加机体对胰岛素的敏感性,从而显著改善糖尿病小鼠体内胰岛素抵抗的症状。
OBJECTIVE To study the hypoglycemie effect of alcoholic extracts of Averrhoa carambola in STZ-induced diabetic mice. METHODS Diabetic mice were induced by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ) in mice,and divided into different groups. The mice were treated with glibenclamide, high- and low-doses of alcoholic extracts of Arerrhoa carambola, and normal saline respectively for 14 days. The levels of.fasting blood glucose (FBG), fasting blood serum insulin (FBSI), insulin sensitivity index (ISI),weight and death rate were observed after 14 days of treatment with drugs. RESULTS The fasting blood glucose and Fasting insulin in STZ-induced diabetic mice were decreased significantly and the insulin sensitivity index were increased by treatment with the alcoholic extracts of Averrhoa ca rambola groups (compared with model group, P〈0. 01). In addition, the weight of STZ-induced diabetic mice was increased by the treatment with these drugs (compared with model group,P〈0. 05). CONCLUSION The alcoholic extract of Averrhoa carambola root has significantly hypoglycemic effect,alleviates the decrease in weight of diabetic mice, and increases the level of insulin and ISI in STZ-induced diabetic mice.
