摘要
了解不同高校的规模收益状况能够为决策者如何在不同层次高校之间配置有限的教育资源提供有价值的信息。本文运用数据包络分析方法对中部地区"211工程"高校的规模收益进行了详细地实证分析。结果发现,规模有效的占62.5%,规模无效的占37.5%。根据投影理论,规模无效的主要原因在于相关高校获得的国家社会科学研究基金项目太少。针对这种情况,提出了一些合理化的建议:中部地区高等教育宜采用稳步发展的战略,是否走多学科并重的发展道路要依各自的战略定位而定。
Scale-efficiency can provide valuable information for decision-makers to allocate educational resources between different levels of universities. The paper analyzes scale efficiency of "project 21 1"universities located in central China in detail by DEA model. The conclusion is that 62.5% of them are scale efficient and 37.5% are scale in-efficient. According to projection theory, the main reason for the scale in-efficiency of some universities lies in their lack of national social science fund projects. In order to solve this problem, we should develop higher education in central China with steady steps, and decide to develop multidisciplinary or not according to the strategic orientation of different universities.
