摘要
由于汉英文化差异及词义差别,典故成语的翻译一直是翻译实践中的一个难点。笔者从修辞角度着手,提出了应根据具体情况采取直译、直译与意译结合、直译加注解,将典故故事融合于正文中,意译和套译等不同的翻译方法。
Due to the differences between Chinese and English culture and the differences between Chinese words and English words, the translation of the allusions has been a difficult problem. From the angle of figures of speech, the author argue that in accordance with specific situation, different translation methods should be employed, such as literal translation, literal translation with free translation, literal translation with explanatory notes, free translation.
