摘要
新闻标题现在时态使用广泛而特殊,它与表示的客观时间往往不相对应,而常常表示主观时间。我们认为,新闻标题现在时态的这种超常规构建是受众求新求近的心理和现在时态的现联性本质两因素合力驱动使然。其构建的认知心理机制,可以借助概念整合理论进行解析,因为新闻标题现在时态的这种超常规使用实际上就是一种跨空间的映射和整合过程。
The present tense is broadly used in English news headlines. Unlike usual cases, it corresponds with the subjective time, instead of the objective time. The author holds that the present tense in news headlines results from the addressees' psychological features and the essence of the present tense, i.e. the present-connectiveness. The cognitive mechanism of its construction may he explained with the conceptual blending theory, since the unusual usage of the tense in news headlines is actually a process of mapping and integrating between mental spaces.
