Borescopes, based on technologically advanced optical systems, are a frequent choice in inspecting mission-critical parts or components in the turbine engines. The borescopic visual inspection, as one of an important means of NDT, has broken the traditional means of visual inspection. The real internal conditions, which are shown directly on the equipped screen, can be used to monitor the engine operation and health, and can also provide the evaluations for engine-removal and troubleshooting.
