摘要
现代知识分子是自利性的还是依然具有公共性,一直以来争论频频,由此导致了知识分子社会角色理论上的混乱和实践中的迷茫。通过梳理知识分子自利性与公共性互相对立的诸种观点,认为布迪厄的场域理论能够消解这种二元对立:自利的现代知识分子主要栖身于学术场域中寻求着自身的利益,但这并不阻碍他们投身公共领域的政治场域,赢取政治和符号利益,如此就使知识分子在自利的基础上,由自利走向公共,实现多重场域里多元角色扮演中的公共性和自利性的统一,这对知识分子在理论与实践中的意义都极其重大。
Whether modern Intellectuals are selfish or still public is a heated problem which leads to the confusion in theory and puzzle in practice on the topic of the social role of intellectuals.The article summarizes various kinds of arguments of the contradictions of this with the belief that the contradiction between the selfish and public roles of the intellectuals can be resolved by the theory of Bourdieu's 'Fields'.Though they mainly work in the academic field,pursuing the interests within,this will not prevent them from jumping into public sphere belonging to the field of politics and pursuing the political and symbolic interests of it in their real life,thus leading to the unification of the muliti-roles in different fields that they play based on selfishness and making them go into the public sphere from selfishness to publicity.
