摘要
数字信息与语义信息相比,即使在具体的、带有鲜明语境的原语话语中,也难有完整的、提示性较强的语境意义参照场。因此数字,尤其是"繁复数字"的传译难度大已是公认的事实。尽管人们就"繁复数字"传译技巧进行了很多的探讨,但效果都不尽人意。本文在前人研究的基础上,取长补短,针对"繁复数字"的四种类型提出了基本技巧及变体,帮助译员锤炼无语境中数字传译硬功夫。
Figures, against semantic information, can hardly be triggered or prompted even set in a discourse with the clear and specific context. Therefore, it has been recognized that figures, ＂big and complex figures＂ in particular, are one of the worst headaches to interpreters. Difficult and important as the interpretation is, discus- sions on figure interpretation skills are far from desirable. This paper, drawing on the strengths and weaknesses of the prevailing skills, proposes a complete set of skills targeting at interpreting four sub-categories of the ＂big and complex＂ figures.
