摘要
称谓从语用学角度来看,是一种特殊的言语行为。通过交际实例分析影响称呼的语用因素、语用失败和语用补救措施,从而探讨言外行为在中英称呼行为中的体现和运用,得出称谓是一种有"言外之意"的言语行为;良好的称谓是交际行为的润滑剂,会加深交际双方的好感和印象。
Appellation is a unique speech act from the perspective of pragmatics. With some supporting examples, this article discusses Speech Act Theory in English and Chinese appellations, through analyzing its governing factors, pragmatic failure, and pragmatic remedy in actual communications. At last, the article concludes that addressing is a particular speech act which has its own illocutionary forces, and it is also a lubricant which smoothes the communication. Considering the factors mentioned above, successful addressing can enhance the impression of participants in the communication.
