摘要
移动IPv6允许用户在移动的过程中保持连续的通信。为研究移动IPv6机制的可行性,按照802.11无线局域网标准搭建了移动IPv6实验网络并进行了切换性能测试与分析,实验结果表明标准移动IPv6引入的信号负载不会影响网络性能,网络中UDP应用性能要优于TCP应用性能。
Mobile IPv6 enables mobile users to communicate with each other while moving. For studying feasibility of mobile IPv6, mobile IPv6 network was implemented by the IEEE 802.11 specification and handoff performance was analyzed. The experimental results indicate the signaling load introduced by MIPv6 doesn't severely affect the network performance and UDP applications performs well than TCP applications.
