摘要
习语是一种固定搭配或固定短语。认知语言学认为习语是概念系统的产物,其本质具有概念性和系统性,习语的语义不是任意性的,与人类的认知密切相关。通过概念隐喻、概念转喻、概念的隐喻-转喻对情感习语进行解读,目的在于从认知语言学的角度来探索英语情感习语的认知机制。情感习语的隐喻、转喻和隐喻-转喻的认知机制为人们理解习语语义提供了概念理据。
Idioms are set phrases. Cognitive linguistics believes that idioms are the products of whose meanings can be seen as motivated, but not arbitrary, and they are closely related to our conceptual system, human＇s cognitions. By means of interpreting conceptual metaphor, conceptual metonymy and conceptual metaphor-metonymy, the paper explores cognitive mechanism in the learning and understanding of the emotional idioms. The study will provide us with a new perspective to explore idiom＇s semantic meanings.
