摘要
流行病学调查以及实验、临床研究初步表明,雌激素可维持晶状体透明性,预防晶状体混浊,对晶状体有一定的保护作用。但雌激素抑制白内障发生的机制尚不清楚。雌激素可能通过抗氧化损伤、维持细胞膜正常功能、介导转化生长因子β(transfor ming growth factor-β,TGF-β)、结合雌激素受体(estrogen receptor,ER)、抗凋亡等途径发挥作用。对各途径及其相互关系的研究,将有助于阐明雌激素的作用机制,为有效防治白内障提供新思路。
The primary statistical investigation,clinical and experimental research indicate that estrogen may maintain transparency,prevent opacity and provide protection to crystalline lens.However,the molecular mechanisms behind this phenomenon are still undetermined.Estrogen may offer protective effects on lens through antioxidative impairment,maintains normal function of lenticular membrane,TGF-β mediated,estrogen receptor mediated effects and anti-apoptosis.The research of these effects and their interactions would lead to a better understanding of the protective mechanism of estrogen in lens and provide a new way of treatment and prevention of cataract.
