摘要
报道了电场调制下的MEH-PPV光波导放大的自发辐射.我们设计制备结构为ITO/SiO2/MEH-PPV/SiO2/Al多层光波导.在脉冲激光激发下,MEH-PPV薄膜产生窄光谱的放大自发辐射.在器件的ITO和Al两极间加上同步电脉冲,随着脉冲电压的增加,电场诱导的激子离化增强,导致放大的自发辐射强度大幅度降低.这种机制可以用于增益可调聚合物光波导放大器和光开关.
Amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) from poly [2-methoxy-5-(2'-ethylhexyl-oxy)-1, 4-pheny- lenevinylene](MEH-PPV) film modulated by an electric field are reported for the first time. The device with slab structure of ITOISiO21MEH-PPVISiO21A was designed and fabricated. With the increasing intensity of electric field, the dissociation of excitons enhances and the intensity of ASE descends. This mechanism can be applicable to gain tuneable waveguide amplifier and optical switch.
