Expression and clinical significance of NGAL in cervical squamous cancer

摘要 目的观察中性粒细胞明胶酶相关脂质运载蛋白(NGAL)在宫颈鳞癌组织中的表达,探讨NGAL在宫颈鳞癌发生、发展、转移中的作用。方法采用免疫组化SP法检测47例宫颈鳞癌、45例CIN、15例正常宫颈上皮组织中NGAL的表达。结果NGAL在宫颈鳞癌组织中的阳性表达率为70.2%,明显高于其在CIN(26.7%)及正常子宫颈上皮组织(20.0%)中的表达(P<0.05);宫颈癌组织中NGAL表达与宫颈癌的分化程度、浸润深度、淋巴结转移有关(P<0.05)。结论NGAL表达在宫颈癌组织中明显增高,且与宫颈鳞癌发生、发展、转移有关,可能参与宫颈癌的进展与转移,可作为判断宫颈鳞癌进展的一种新的标志物。 Objective To investigate the role of neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin(NGAL) in oncogenesis,development and metastasis of cervical squamoas carcinoma through detection of expression of NGAL in cervical squamous cancer.Methods Immunohistochemistry(SP method) was applied to determine the expression of NGAL proteins in the specimens obtained from 47 patients with cervical carcinoma,45 patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and 15 patients with normal cervix.Results The rate of expression of NGAL was higher in cancer tissues(70. 2% ) than in CIN(26. 7% ) and normal cervix tissues(20. 0% ) (P 〈0. 05). The expression of NGAL had correlation with differentiation degree, invasion depth and metastasis of the carcinoma (P 〈 0. 05 ). Conclusion The expression of NGAL is increased in the tissue of cervical squamous cancer and is related to the occurrence, development and metastasis of cervical squamous cancer. It may participated in the progress and metastasis of cervical carcinoma and can be a new marker for judging progress of cervical squamous cancer.
