钢的调质按调质后的综合力学性能可分为高韧性调质、强韧性调质和高强度调质。调质钢按淬透性可分为最低淬透性、较低淬透性、较高淬透性及最高淬透性调质钢。以低碳马氏体钢代替调质钢是结构钢热处理发展的一个重要方面。
Quenching and high temperature tempering( symbol 515 ) of steel can be classified as high toughness level, strengthening-toughening level and high strength level according to the overall property obtained by the said heat treating processes. The quenched and tempered steel can be classified as lowest, lower, higher and highest hardenability steels according to their hardenability. The replacement of the quenched and tempered steel by the low carbon martensite steel is an important aspect of heat treatment development for structural steel.
