美国语言诗受语言游戏说的影响。对语言诗意义的把握需要读者在阅读过程中获得。苏珊.豪的《历史中声音形式的发音》践行了语言诗创作的原则,读者在体味语言游戏的过程中,逐步发现豪在诗歌文本的形式动态变化中反映了她对历史的态度。从《历史中声音形式的发音》的阅读过程可以看出,语言诗的意义具有不确定性,而这来自读者积极参与的意义建构过程。
Language Poetry is influenced by the Language-Game. The meaning of a language poem is to be acquired in the process of readers＇ participation. In Articulation of Sound Forms in Time Susan Howe employed the artifice of language poetry. In enjoying the understanding process of language games in the poem, readers gradually find Howe＇ s attitudes towards history embedded in the formal dynamics. The process of reading Articulation of Sound Forms in Time is the process of constructing the indeterminacy of meanings of a language poem.
