摘要
在成本内生的条件下,应用三阶段博弈模型分析了具有网络外部性的产品横向差异化问题,并对产品价格、生产商利润、消费者剩余以及社会福利分别与成本外生时的结果作了比较。研究发现,双寡头企业的产品定位由网络外部性参数与供应商的相对谈判能力共同决定;产品间的相对差异程度只受后者影响;供应商Nash谈判参数的存在提高了产品价格,增加了生产商利润,但降低了消费者剩余,减少了社会福利。
The horizontal differentiation of the production with network externality is analyzed by using a three stage game under the condition of endogenous production costs And product price, firm's profits, consumer surplus and social welfare are respectively compared with those obtained when production costs are exogenous. The results show that the product locations of duopolist are determined by the network externality parameter and the supplier's relative bargaining strength and the product's horizontal differentiation is effected only by the latter. The existence of supplier's Nash bargaining parameter increases product price and firm's profits, but decreases the consumer surplus and the social welfare.
