建设终身学习社区中远程教育的作用:国际视角——世界开放大学校长会议的拓展性研究综述 被引量:5

摘要 2009年11月世界开放大学校长会议在日本举行,来自中国、美国、英国、韩国、泰国、马来西亚、印度尼西亚、新西兰、加拿大和东道主日本共10个国家的开放大学校长或代表出席了会议。会议的主题是"建设终身学习社区中远程教育的作用:国际视角"。会议追溯了终身教育理念向终身学习的演变过程,指出整个社会对终身学习的认识在不断深化。要实现终身学习的目标,首先要充分认识人力资源开发的意义,充分认识学习者的特质和需求。开放大学在推进终身学习社区建设中,促进终身学习的社会网络化,发展适应多样化的教学资源,启用院校合作的有效机制,充分利用社会软件,不断拓展远程教育的社会功能。 In November 2009,presidents and representatives of Open Universities from China,the US,The UK,South Korea,Thailand,Malaysia,Indonesia,New Zealand,Canada and Japan gathered in Japan and attended the International Conference of Open University Presidents,whose theme was Distance Education and the Construction of Lifelong Learning Community:An International Perspective. The process of evolution from the lifelong education concept to lifelong learning was reviewed and it was pointed out that the whole society has gained a better understanding of lifelong learning. To realize the lifelong learning objective,it is of first concern to fully understand the significance of human resource exploitation and learners' features and needs. To help build lifelong learning communities,open universities should promote the cybernation of lifelong learning society,develop teaching resources that adapt to diversity,initiate effective mechanisms for intercollegiate cooperation,and make fully use of social software to expand social functions of distance education.
