"又不/没有"是汉语典型的间接否定拒绝句式,"又"在其中的语法意义等同于"但是……就……",它在其中所起的语篇衔接作用是显露说话人的话语意图,而它的功能是把人们的注意力引导到所拒绝的请求/提议/意见的预设前提为假的事实上,造成请求等的瓦解。该句式不仅经常出现在日常对话中,而且还出现于独白里,旨在说理。
＂You＋negation＂ is a canonical configuration used for indirect denial in Mandarin, in which you equals to ＂but……in fact…＂ We argue that the function of you in this configu- ration is to make the speaker＇s intension about the implicit content of the utterance man- ifest by just guiding the hearer＇s attention to the falsehood of the presupposition premise behind the request/proposal/opinion, thus causing its collapse. It not only appears in eve- ryday conversations, but also emerges in monologues, serving the purpose of inference.
