摘要
针对我国大学英语教学改革这一"宏大叙事",本文采用广义的"体验式"英语教学的视角,讨论了"以读促写,以写促读"新模式对于英语写作教学的促进作用。本文共由七个部分组成。第一部分结合我国大学英语教学的改革情况,介绍了本项研究的背景。第二部分采用"问题化"的视角,聚焦了中国语境中英语写作教学所面临的主要问题。第三部分简述了"体验式"教学理论的要旨。第四部分引入了"以读促写,以写促读"的教学改革新模式。第五部分结合教育技术的研发与使用,讨论了这种新型教学模式的施教方法。第六部分透过清华大学参加了"体验英语写作"课程学习的学生的目光,总结了这种新型教学方法所产生的教学效果。第七部分得出一个初步结论,说明基于"体验式"教学理念的"以读促写,以写促读"新方法,为大学英语教学的改革,提供了一种具有可操作性的多元选择。
In this study, we look at the mechanisms of a new teaching method--"Writing through Reading & Reading through Writing" and discuss the application of this innovative practice to college English classrooms in China by adopting an experiential theory in its broad sense. There are seven parts in this paper. We first introduce the research background in relation to the reformative movement currently taking place in the field of college English teaching in China. We then take a "problematizing" perspective to examine difficulties and issues widely existing in English writing classrooms at the tertiary level. A brief theoretical discussion is given in the third part. In the following two parts, we introduce this new teaching model and illustrate its practice in classrooms. The efficiency of this method is examined in the sixth part by summarizing some feedback obtained from our writing classes. We argue in the closing part that this innovative method is likely to offer a potential and positive selection to the quality English teaching pursued by Chinese universities.
