介绍了武钢一炼钢厂连铸方坯产生的各种缺陷及其形成成因，详细论述了改进这些缺陷的具体措施，实践证明连铸方坯质量有了大幅度的提高。
The present paper described various defects in the continuous casting billet at No.1 Steel Plant and their causes and discussed in detail the specific measures to correct those defects.It is demonstrated that the quality of billets in thus drastically improved.
