RNA干扰是一种在进化上保守的抵御转基因或外来病毒侵犯的防御机制,存在于许多不同种属的生物体中,在生物体细胞之间进行传递,具有抵抗病毒入侵和维持基因组稳定的作用。RNA干扰文库是以RNA干扰技术为基础建立的一种简单、高效、大规模、高通量的功能基因组学研究的工具,应用于大规模基因功能的筛选,在基因功能研究、发现新的药物靶基因和疾病相关基因等方面具有广阔的应用前景。
RNA interference is an evolutionarily conserved defense mechanisms to resist transgenic genes and alien virus, it lies in many different species of organisms, and can transfer between organisms cells with the effect of resisting virus invasion and maintaining genome stahility. RNA interference library is based on RNA interference technology with the feature of the simplicity, efficiency, large- scale and high throughput, can be used in large scale screening of gene function and phenotype screening. Research and application of RNA interference as an extremely important theoretical and practical significance of the medical biology will have a profound impact on development.
