H.264视频压缩技术及应用

H.264 Video Compression Technologies and Applications

摘要 ISO/IEC和ITU-T联合制定的H.264标准,是目前最新的视频压缩标准。该标准采用一系列最新的压缩技术,提高了压缩率。本文重点介绍了视频编码标准H.264的关键压缩技术,并阐述了它在数字电视、高清晰度电视以及移动通信等方面的应用前景。 H.264 standard is jointly made by ITU-T Video Coding Experts Group and ISO-IEC MPEG Video Group,which is the latest technology.H.264 video coding standard uses a series of the newest compression technologies to enhance the compression ratio.This paper begins with a detailed introduction to the key technology of the new video coding standard H.264,followed by a discussion of its wide applications in such fields as digital TV,high definition TV and mobile communication.
