Based on the construction of Fenghuajiang large bridge in the newly-built Yongtaiwen railway,the article introduced the technology and methods that are used in the collar beam cast-in-situ construction in ＂beam first then arch＂ of the large-span through X-style tied arch bridge of steel pipe concrete and summarized the controlling points and attentions in construction.
