摘要
3GPP在对无线接入演进的同时,相应地对系统架构进行了演进,称为SAE。SAE是一个全新的核心网络架构,它采用全分组IP方式,支持异构网络的接入和互通,具有良好的兼容性,同时简化了功能实体。对SAE的架构结构、功能实体以及功能实体之间的接口进行了介绍,同时对SAE中的策略控制计费控制技术以及接入系统之间的切换技术进行了分析。
System Architecture Evolution (SAE) is one of the important evolution parts in 3GPP.It is a new core network for improving the performance of IP-based packet-switched network,which provides flexible accommodation and deployment of existing and new access technologies (e.g.WiMAX);it can also improve system capacity and coverage,reducing the overall cost for the operators.This paper analyzes the system architecture,network entity and interface in SAE,and discusses some key issues including policy control,charging and inter-access-system handover.
