摘要 词汇练习设计是各阶段英语教材课后练习设计的重点内容之一。词汇练习设计的形式如何会深刻影响学生的词汇学习活动。大多数教材重视词的形式和词的意义方面的练习设计,而对词的使用方面的练习设计较少,且多以选词填空为主。语义韵研究可以应用在词汇练习的设计中,由于其提供了丰富的语境,所以对提高学生词项方面的典型搭配能力乃至语用能力都会有所帮助。 It is vital for English books to provide various vocabulary exercises. To some extent, the form of exerises will determine how students learn vocabulary knowledge. Currently,much importance has been attached to the form and the meaning in vocabulary exercise. This paper has elaborated how semantic prosody is applied to designing vocabulary exercises. Owing to its sufficient context for the use of vocabulary, it will be beneficial to improve learners' abilities in collocation and in pragmatics.
