Analysis on Agricultural Technology Improvement and the Productive Efficiency of Central China

摘要应用非参数的DEA方法，对中国中部六省1990～2008年间的农业生产效率，包括综合效率、规模效率、技术效率和全要素生产率的变化及构成进行分析，结果表明：中部农业的综合效率发展主要与技术效率的提高有关，而与规模效率关系不大。农业全要素生产率的增长主要由技术进步做出贡献。且存在农业技术进步与农业效率缺失并存的现象。中部地区今后的农业生产应该以提高规模经营和加大科技投入为主。 An analysis is made on the agricultural production efficiency of six provinces in central China from 1990 to 2005 by using non - parameter methods of DEA, including comprehensive efficiency, scale efficiency, technical efficiency, and the change and constitution of total factor productivity. The results show that the development of the agricultural comprehensive efficiency in central China is closely related with the improvement of technical efficiency, not the scale efficiency. Technical advancement contributes to the increase of agricultural total factor productivity. Besides, technical advancement of agriculture and the lack of agricultural efficiency still coexist. The emphasis of agricultural production in the future should be put on improving-the scale management and strengthening scientific and technological investment.
