摘要
本文从知识的视角论述大学怎样定位。一所大学需在知识的广度、深度及知识链三维空间中寻找自己恰当的位置,大学担当着知识传播者、知识创造者、知识创新者和知识创值者四种知识角色。大学应承担的知识角色是三层结构模式:最高层是使大学成为知识创值者,中间层是使大学成为知识创造者和知识创新者,基础层是使大学成为知识传播者。为实现这一结构模式,大学需处理好几个方面的关系。
The paper deals with how to determine a university orientation from knowledge perspective. The author thinks that a university should decide its own orientation from the three-dimension space of knowledge width, depth and chains. A university plays the role of knowledge spreader, crea- tor, innovator and value-driver. The paper builds a three-layer model for a university's knowledge roles: the highest layer is to make university as the knowledge value-driver, the second layer as the knowledge creator and innovator, the third layer as the knowledge spreader. In order to realize the model, the university should handle well several relationships.
