摘要
图像增强的主要目的是改善档案图像的视觉效果,它对档案图像信息系统的有效利用至关重要。通过运用自适应直方图均衡化技术从整体上调节图像的灰度分布范围,运用Lee滤波器从局部上增强图像细节,应用图像噪声限幅策略抑制图像噪声,从而使得增强后的档案图像满足国家的行业规范。实验表明,采用上述三种技术有效结合的方法,能够有效改善经扫描方式批量生产获得的档案图像的质量。
The main objective of image enhancement is to improve the perceptual quality of image. The image with a good quality is very important for the document image information system. The proposed image enhancement method combines three technologies to improve the perceptual quality of document image. Firstly, the histogram equalization is utilized to adjust the global gray level distribution of document image. Secondly, the Lee filter is invited to enhance the detail information of document image. Thirdly, the noise resisting policy is employed to remove the noise from the amplified detail information. With the proposed method, the enhanced document image can satisfy the national industry standard. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively improve the perceptual quality of document image which is produced through sacnner.
