摘要
传统的玩偶玩具设计基于油泥雕刻的方法,作者研究了一种基于"虚拟油泥"和"力反馈技术"的全新三维建模工具——触觉式虚拟设计系统FreeForm,概述了其基本设计原理和核心技术,详述了使用FreeForm系统设计开发玩偶玩具的具体过程,最后对比传统方法总结出FreeForm系统在玩具开发设计中具有造型任意、人机交互良好、设计过程绿色化、设计过程可逆等诸多优势.
Conventional method of doll's design is based on clay sculpting. There is a tool called FreeForm which is based on "virtual clay" and "force feedback" has been researched in this paper. It is summarizes that the basic theory and the essential technology in the content, it is expands the specific process of designing and making a doll by using FreeForm as well. By contrast of the conventional method, the paper finally sums up some advantages by using FreeForm in the process of doll's design and development, which are freeform styling, good interactivity, environmental and reversible process of design and development, etc.
