摘要
芥川龙之介的作品《地狱变》,评论界对其主题的探讨主要存在这样两种倾向:其一,这是一部批判现实主义作品,以画师良秀一生的不幸遭遇来揭露"地狱"的惨状以影射现实;其二,这是一部唯美主义作品,作者高度礼赞画师为追求艺术的至上境界不惜牺牲人伦,甚至人的生命,这是艺术家的艺术追求使然。笔者认为第一种观点显然偏离了作者的本意,第二种观点比较接近作者创作的实际情况。芥川龙之介在作品中追求的是观念中的"唯美",而无视这种追求过程中所暴露的人性缺陷;"地狱"是不健康的人性造成的。
About the theme of Hell Screen,the works of Ryūnosuke Akutagawa,there are such two kinds of main tendencies: one,this is a critical realism works that the unfortunate experience of artist Yoshihide’s lifetime exposed the pains in the hell and implicated the reality;Second,this is an aestheticism works.The author highly praised the artist pursued the highest art at the expense of human relations,and even human lives.It is the artist's art mission.I think that the first one deviated from the author's intention,and the second one superficially approached the author's creative mind,but what Ryūnosuke Akutagawa pursued in this works was the idea of the "aesthetic".Ryūnosuke Akutagawa ignored the defects of human beings exposed in the process of the pursuit.Therefore,the hell was made by the people who had not the healthful humanity.
