摘要
首先从数据库管理（ＤＢＭＳ）的角度分析了当前ＶＴＳ系统管理的特点及存在的问题，在此基础上提出了用分布式数据库管理方法实现对各港口、各部门的船舶交通数据的统一规划、分散管理、相互协调及数据共享，具有可扩充性好，效率及可靠性高的特点，并对数据库管理实施过程中的一些具体问题提出了解决方案．
rom the point of view of Database Management System(DBMS), the feature and the problem in the Chinese Vessel Traffic Service(VTS) system has been analyzed. Based on these results, a proposal that in corporates the distributed database management system is put forward. With this of management system, the VTS user in various centers can fulfill the independent management and shared resource, and the whole system can obtain to a higher degree its efficiency, reliability and expandability.
