摘要
目的探讨β-catenin和Ki-67在脑干胶质瘤中的表达及意义。方法采用免疫组织化学法检测30例低级别脑干胶质瘤和10例高级别脑干胶质瘤中β-catenin和Ki-67的表达情况。结果β-catenin和Ki-67在不同级别脑干胶质瘤中均有表达。随着病理级别的升高,β-catenin和Ki-67表达均逐渐增强,差异有统计学意义(P<0.01),且二者表达呈正相关(r=0.332,P<0.05)。结论β-catenin蛋白的异常表达可能参与脑干胶质瘤的恶性进展,检测β-catenin蛋白的表达水平有助于评价脑干胶质瘤的恶性程度和生物学行为。
Objective To explore the expression and significance of β-catenin and Ki-67 in brain stem gliomas.Methods The expressions of β-catenin and Ki-67 were detected in 30 low grade and 10 high grade brain stem gliomas by immunohistochemistry.Results β-catenin and Ki-67 was positively detected in both-low grade and high-grade brain stem gliomas,and higher expressions of β-catenin and Ki-67 were observed with the increasing grade of brain stem gliomas,which was statistically different (P 〈0.01).In addition,the expression of β-catenin and Ki-67 was correlated positively with each other (r=0.332,P〈 0.05).Conclusions The abnormal expression of β-catenin may participate in the malignant progression of brain stem gliomas,and detection of β-catenin protein will be helpful in evaluating the malignancy and biological behavior of brain stem glioma.
