介绍了印度铁路为采用双层集装箱运输、提高集装箱运能而进行的调研工作。从需求、线路和基础设施条件、集装箱尺寸、质量和安全性等方面进行了可行性分析,并介绍了试验情况。
The investigation and research on application of double-stack containers to improve the transport capacity of containers in Indian Railway are described.The feasibility analysis is made from such aspects as demand,track and foundation facility conditions,container dimensions,quality and safety.And the testing is also described.
