摘要
本文以南京市部分高校的毕业生为例,运用生存模型对其工作搜寻时间和影响因素进行了实证研究,发现大学生的平均工作搜寻时间为4个月左右。基于Cox半参数估计和威布尔参数估计的生存分析结果显示:实习经历、求职过程中的人情支出可以显著降低大学生的工作搜寻时间;而来自于城市家庭、收入期望值较高以及文史哲、法律、教育等专业的毕业生,其求职时间相对较长;性别、学习成绩、毕业学校的声望以及是否担任学生干部等因素对于工作搜寻时间没有显著影响。
The article empirically explores the status and determinants of job search duration of college graduates on the base of data from some colleges and universities located in Nanjing.We find that the average job search duration of college graduates is four months.Based on survival analysis model including estimation of Cox semi-parameters and Weibull parameters,econometric results show:practical experience,and expenditure on relations in job-search process can significantly reduce the search time;and college graduates from the urban households families,with higher income expectations,as well as those in the majors of Literature,History and Philosophy, Law,Education have longer job search duration.But gender,college prestige,and GPA,as well as whether students leaders,have no significant impact on job search duration.
