摘要
为研究胡芦巴胶对体内血糖水平的影响,进行了动物疗程实验,对于患阿脲糖尿病鼠,每天每千克体重分别添加0.18,0.9和4.5g的补充胡芦巴胶膳食;而对于正常鼠,添加量为每天每千克体重4.5g,实验期为32d.对于这两类鼠,胡芦巴胶有显著的降血糖功效(P<0.05和P<0.01),尤其对于病鼠,0.9g/(kg·d)和4.5g/(kg·d)的剂量,降血糖作用显著,并且降血糖效果取决于剂量的大小。
Galactomannan containing 3.49% protein, 2.09% ash, 7.91% moisture, and 1:1.05 galactose mannose ratio was extracted from the seeds of fenugreek. The effect of the galactomannan (gum) on the blood glucose level of the normal and alloxan diabetic rats was determined after treatment with supplemented diets containing 0.18, 0.9, and 4.5 g / kg body to the alloxan diabetic rats, and 4.5 g / kg body to the normal rats. The experiment was carried for 32 days. Fenugreek gum produced significant fall (p < 0.05 and p < 0.01) in blood glucose both in normal as well as diabetic rats when they fed with 0.9 and 4.5 g / kg doses, and the hypoglycemic effect was dose dependent.
