摘要
医学英语是医学生应掌握的国际交流的工具,但目前不少医学英语教学实践纯粹围绕语言知识的展开,教学效果不佳。本文探讨了将文化内容引入医学英语教学中,培养学生的跨文化交际能力,从而促进学生的医学英语学习,并且为将来积极有效地参与专业性的国际交流打下基础。
Medical English is a tool that medicine majors should master to facilitate successful international communications with foreign medical professionals in the future. However, much of the present Medical English teaching practice does not help students to have a good command of medical English because of the sole emphasis on language teaching. This paper introduces a teaching model with emphasis on culture to cultivate students' cross-cultural communicative competence, which is believed to enhance medical English study for the school period and lay the foundation for effective international medical communications in the future.
