摘要
人是文明的创造者,土地是人的活动的载体和必要条件。人—地关系是犹太文明发生、发展的物质起点与基础,在其过程中既有地理要素对文化精神的嵌入,也有文化精神对地理要素的浸染。迦南地及周边地区的自然——人文地理要素对犹太文化的产生成长起到了广泛而深刻的潜在作用,后世犹太人的宗教信仰、价值观念、思想意识、社会习俗、生活方式、文化品性均可从迦南地本身寻找到源头,也可从迦南地所处的特殊的地理位置找到源头。
Human is the initiator of civilization while land is basic and essential to human activities.The relationship between man and land is the material foundation as well as sources for the growth of civilization,in the process of which not only geographical features are inserted in cultural spirits but also cultural spirits are exerted in geographical conceptions.The nature-human geographical features of Canaan and it＇s surrounding places have left their deep and substantial influences upon the origin and growth of Jewish culture.The religious beliefs,value concepts,ideological patterns,social customs,life style and cultural characteristics of the later generations of the Jews can all be traced back to Canaan itself and to its specific geographical surroundings.
