多模态外语教学的设计与模态调用初探 被引量:440

Preliminary Investigation into the Concept of Design and the Selection of Modalities in Multimodal Foreign Language Teaching

摘要 本文重点探讨外语课堂教学中的设计及其对模态系统的调用。本文首先探讨了制约设计的主导因素,即教学内容、师生特点和教学条件,然后探讨了多模态外语课堂教学的设计,提出了教学设计所依据的、主要与教学内容相关的教学理念,归纳为五个类别:教材权威型、知识获取型、技能训练型、经历体验型和资源发展型。教学设计体现在教学实践中。本文探讨了外语课堂教学可能的教学阶段和在每个阶段可选择的教学步骤和方法,最后探讨了教学设计对模态系统的选择和选择的原则,包括总原则、最佳效果原则和三个一般原则:有效原则、适配原则和经济原则。 The present article investigates the concept of design in foreign language classroom teaching and the selection of modalities. It first studies the major constraining factors, that is,the content, the characteristics of the teacher and the students and teaching conditions; then it investigates design in multimodal foreign language classroom teaching, and proposes the teaching conceptions related to the teaching content. As design is realized in teaching practice, the present article also investigates the possible stages of foreign language classroom teaching and the steps and possible methods used in each stage. Finally the article studies the principles of the choice of modality systems based on design, including the general principle of optimal result and three sub-principles of effect, match and economy.
