摘要
本文简述了上海光源储存环位置测量系统的物理需求、基本设计思想以及软硬件结构,对其中采用的数字束流位置信号处理器、高精度纽扣型束流位置探头、信号传输网络等关键部件的研制、安装情况进行了详细介绍。该系统经一年调试优化现已投入日常运行,结果表明位置分辨率达到亚微米量级,优于上海光源设计要求。
The beam position monitor (BPM) system for the storage ring of Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) has been developed. In this paper, we describe the physics requirement, design principle, software and hardware architecture of the BPM system. Development and implementation of the digital BPM processor, button type pickup assembly and signal cable network are given in detail. Online data showed that submicron position resolution at 10 Hz data rate was achieved after one year commissioning and optimization. The BPM system satisfied the SSRF, with better performance than the design specification.
