摘要
斯洛特是当代西方美德伦理学的重要代表人物。他对日常道德、义务论和功利主义只关注他人利益而忽视道德行动者自身利益的倾向进行了批判,他将这一批评称为"自我—他人不对称"。斯洛特的观点具有一定的合理性,但其论证过程存在问题,因此只能看作是美德伦理学视野下的一种不同的伦理观。
Slote is an important figure in contemporary western virtue ethics.He criticizes the tendency of common sense morality,deontology and utilitarianism that emphasizes the goodness of other peoples and neglects the goodness of the agent.He calls the criticism ＂self-other asymmetry＂.This viewpoint has limited rationality,but the justification for it has some problems,so the viewpoint is just a different ethical viewpoint from virtue ethics.
