Ea=132kJ/mol。 In this paper,in order to improve the absorption of CO2,the three ethylene tetramine(TETA) with four nitrogen atoms is used as the absorbent. At atmospheric pressure, the reactor with agitator were adopted to study absorption of CO2 by TETA.The optimum conditions were obtained as temperature of 308K and concentration of 1.0mol/L,which were compared with that using traditional absorbents such as ethanolamine(MEA),diethanolamine(DEA) and triethanolamine(TEA).The experimental results show that TETA is an excellent absorbent of CO2.The mechanism of the absorbent is analyzed. In addition, chemical kinetics were applied to calculate the reaction order, speed constant and activation energy of TETA absorbing CO2 at different temperature. The calculation results show that at the optimum temperature of 308K,the reaction speed constant reaches the maximum and the reaction gets the highest speed with reaction order of n=1.6 and speed constant of k′=0.172,The average activation energy Ea=132kJ/mol.
