With the development of modern medical technology, more and more serious illness can be treated, prolonging the life of termianl stage patients, but it also lead to invalid treatment for some termianl stage patients with incurable diseases. Hospice care doesn't changes the natural process of death, while shows respect for the natural process of death, thus can serve as an effective means to solve this problem. However, moral, ethical and legal disputes are also triggered by hospice. Under the current condition of China in which the economic development, social and medical security system are not perfect, deep reflection on the treatment of patients with terminal stage diseases is of great referncing value to rationally distribute the now limited health resources and improve new medical insurance system.
