摘要
通过总结近年来英语专业语法教学中存在的问题,在回顾20世纪70年代以来语法教学以及相关的应用语言、二语习得的研究成果的基础上,提出了一种基于增显任务的3P课堂教学模式。目前的注重讲解和操练的语法教学模式缺少以下两个环节:一是以语篇形式显性呈现目标语法,作为语境下注重形式-意义-功能联系的高质量的可理解性输入;二是设计合适的语言应用任务来使学习者主动参与和使用目标语法进行交际。外显意识增强型3P模式正是一种在传统的语法课教学模式基础上得以实现以上两个环节的新型课堂教学模式。该模式旨在改变低效乏味的语法课堂教学现状,切实提高学生的语法能力,使其真正能够规范、得体地运用语言进行有效的交际。
This paper probes into the problems in grammar teaching for English majors and proposes a new classroom teaching model based on a brief review of relevant researches and theories in the past decades.The new model,referred to ECT-based teaching model,aims to supplement the present practice characterized with boredom and inefficiency with two important procedures.One is to present target grammar with an appropriate context in a consciousness raising manner as comprehensible input so as to highlight the form-meaning-function relation.The other is to design consciousness raising production tasks to engage the students in communication by using the target grammar.The new model is intended to help the students communicate effectively and appropriately by enhancing their grammatical competence
