摘要
翻译是引发中国传统语言流变的最重要中介之一。五四时期的文学翻译、晚清以来的语言通俗化趋势及《新青年》等杂志围绕白话展开的论争,构建了现代汉语语言规范;白话语言规范的形成不仅促进了传统文学向现代化的过渡,同时也完成了国人语言与思维的现代化。
Translation is regarded as one of the most important agents that brought about the changes and transformation of the norms of Chinese language.The literary translation in vernacular Chinese during the May 4th movement,together with the popularization of written Chinese since the end of Qing Dynasty,the argumentation for and against the vernacular Chinese in magazines such as La Jeunesse,eventually constructed the norms of modern Chinese,which not only helps the traditional Chinese literature,the Chinese language and the mentality of Chinese people to be modernized.
