摘要
上海世博会是唯一一届以城市为主题的世博会,"城市,让生活更美好"的主题反映了人类对美好城市及美好生活的向往。目前,我国正经历着快速城市化过程,房地产业被片面地当作拉动经济发展的重要支柱产业,导致房地产市场的非理性发展,住房的居住本质被异化为投资、投机的标的,"美好的城市生活"面临着住房问题的严峻考验。在市场经济体制下,应以经济手段来解决住房问题。物业税的开征将有效抑制住房的非理性消费,使政府摆脱土地经济的困境,"实现人人享有适当的住房"。让高消费者支付高消费税,体现了社会的公平与正义,有利于创造和谐的城市和美好的生活。
The Shanghai Expo 2010 is the first city-themed Expo.It＇s theme,＂Better city,better life,＂ reflects people＇s pursuit of a good life in a good city.China＇s ongoing rapid urbanization continues to face problems with residential development.Under a market economy,residential demands should be met by the market.Property taxes will promote the irrational consumption of residential units and help the government out of the land economy problem.Everyone should have an apartment in which to live.A consumption tax should be imposed on high value consumers,this would promote social equity and justice and thereby promote harmonious city development.
