摘要
委婉语作为一种常见的语言现象和语言手段已得到诸多学者们多方面的观察和研究,目前对委婉语的研究重点大多放在其语义生成机制和语用功能方面。文章主要从韩礼德提出的语法隐喻角度分析英语委婉语的隐喻机制。
As a common language phenomenon,euphemism has been studied by numerous scholars mainly form the aspects of its functions and its meaning generation.In this paper,the formation of euphemism will be analyzed from the aspect of grammatical metaphor.English Euphemism is widely used in communication,so to learn English Euphemism well is very helpful for intercultural communication.
