摘要
阐释了施特劳斯自由教育思想的三个特点:培育优异心灵,阅读经典著作,倾听伟大心灵的对话;对自由教育与经典阅读之间的关系进行了详细论述;提出经典阅读在当下语境下何以可能。针对完整的国民教育体系,根据学生发展在各阶段的不同状况,分别提出三种建议。
This paper firstly illustrates three features of Leo Strauss' thoughts on liberal education: nurturing good minds, reading of classic works and listening to great opinions. Then it looks into the relation between liberal education and reading of classic works. And it ends with answering the question of "how to make it possible to read classic works at current situation. " With a deep study on national education system and different stages in students' development, this paper gives suggestions in three aspects respectively.
