摘要
普通单级涡轮增压柴油机工作在高原时,会出现发动机进气量不足、功率下降、增压器转速升高和工作点偏向喘振区等不良现象,而二级增压可以有效改善这些状况。针对某6缸柴油机进行了不同海拔下单级增压和二级增压的仿真计算,计算结果表明,采用二级增压可以使柴油机在海拔5.5 km时最大转矩和标定点功率相对单级增压时分别提高15.5%和27.2%,并且低速转矩性得到提高,两级压气机均工作在高效率区且不会超速。
Problems like low mass flow rate,low power output,over-speed of turbochargers and surge often occur when a diesel engine uses one turbocharger at high altitudes.These can be improved if two-stage turbocharging system is used instead of one-stage system.Simulation studies on one-stage and two-stage turbocharged diesel engines at different altitudes were conducted in this paper.Results show that the maximum torque and rated power at 5.5 km altitude increase by 15.5% and 27.2% respectively when using two stage turbocharging system.Low speed torque also increases and both compressors works high efficiently without over-speed.
