摘要
氢氧化镍是碱性蓄电池的正极活性物质,为了改善电极的性能,增加电池的能量密度,探讨了在球型氢氧化镍表面化学镀钴的工艺,研究了镀液中钴含量、pH值、温度及搅拌速度等因素对化学镀钴的影响,通过正交试验得出了最佳化学镀钴工艺。试验发现影响化学镀钴的几个主要因素分别是pH值、温度、搅拌速度及镀液中钴含量。用化学镀钴后的球型氢氧化镍制成的粘接式氢氧化镍电极具有优良的性能,如高的氧化还原可逆性,更大的放电容量。
Nickel hydroxide are widely used as an active
material of positive electrode in alkaline rechargeable batteries.In order to modify the
characteristics of the electrode and increase the energy density of the battery,this paper
investigated the process of electroless cobalt depositing on the spherical nickel
hydroxide particles by means of orthogonal test.The effects of cobalt content in the
solution,pH,temperature,depositing time and stirring rate etc.on the process of electroless
cobalt depositing have been examined.The optimum process parameters have been
obtained through orthogonal test.It has been found from experimental results that the
factors affecting the process of electroless cobalt depositing are pH,temperature,stirring
rate and cobalt content in the solution,respectively.The pasted nickel hydroxide electrode
which is made by the nickel hydroxide deposited cobalt has excellent performance,such
as higher redox reversibility and greater discharge capacity.The results shown that
electroless cobalt depositing on the surface of nickel hydroxide particles is an effective
method modifying characteristic of electrode.
