摘要
由于卫星链路长时延高误码的特点,传输控制协议(TCP)在卫星链路上效率很低。提出了一种卫星通信系统中TCP加速网关的设计实现方法,介绍了基于加速网关的卫星网络结构,描述了其关键技术实现,对提出的设计实现方法在OPNET中进行了仿真验证。仿真结果表明,该技术大大提高了TCP应用在卫星链路上的传输效率,而且在多连接共享带宽时保持了较好的公平性。
The performance of TCP suffers from degradation in satellite networks due to their long latency and high bit error rate.A design and relevant implementation methods of TCP performance enhancement proxy(PEP)in satellite networks are proposed.The network architecture is given based on the PEP,and the main technology of PEP is introduced.At last the methods are validated with OPNET in this paper.The result shows that this technology can improve the transmission efficiency dramatically when TCP application is transmitted through the satellite,and the fairness is also maintained when the bandwidth is shared among multi-connections.
